The enhanced cabinet design also includes weather-resistant foam backing behind the powder-coated steel grille, improving durability and helping protect internal components in varying environments.

At the heart of the PVX 12 is a 12-inch heavy-duty woofer with a 2 3/8-inch voice coil and 50 oz magnet, delivering deeper bass response, powerful midrange performance, and dependable high-output handling. Paired with the RX 10N compression driver featuring a 1-inch titanium diaphragm, the PVX 12 utilizes Peavey’s exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide™ technology to focus sound efficiently where it is needed most, providing consistent 100° x 60° coverage. Its asymmetrical horn design angles sound downward by 10° toward the audience for improved clarity while helping reduce unwanted feedback.

Designed for maximum versatility, the PVX 12 can be pole-mounted, used as a floor monitor, or flown vertically or horizontally for permanent installation.
