The Peavey Classic 20 MH is a 20-watt all-tube mini head that delivers the warm, rich tones that have made the Classic Series a trusted choice for guitarists across generations. Compact yet powerful, it offers exceptional clarity, depth, and dynamic response—ideal for home, studio, or stage use.
Rooted in a legacy dating back to 1973 and developed by Hartley Peavey, the Classic Series is known for its quality, reliability, and unmistakable tone. The Classic 20 MH continues that tradition, delivering authentic tube sound suited to Country, Jazz, Blues, and Rock.
Loaded with 2 x EL84 power tubes and 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes, this amplifier produces smooth cleans, rich overdrive, and excellent tonal balance. Its 2-channel design provides versatility for a wide range of playing styles, with shared 3-band EQ, reverb, effects loop, and a volume boost for added flexibility. The included footswitch allows easy control over channel switching and boost functions.
Modern features make this amplifier equally at home in recording and live environments. A built-in power attenuator (20W, 5W, 1W) lets you achieve full tube tone at any volume, while Peavey's MSDI™ XLR and USB outputs enable direct recording or connection to front-of-house. A speaker defeat switch and headphone output allow for silent practice and recording without a cabinet.
With its compact design, versatile feature set, and timeless tone, the Classic 20 MH is a reliable companion for any guitarist looking to capture true tube character in a portable format.
