Based on the original 1992 design, this reissue stays true to its roots while incorporating practical refinements requested by working musicians, making it a reliable choice for both stage and studio use. This cabinet is loaded with four 12” Sheffield 1230+ speakers, specifically voiced to complement high-gain amplifiers. The slanted (angled) top design improves sound projection, helping you hear your tone more clearly on stage while also enhancing audience coverage.

Its closed-back construction and infinite baffle design contribute to tight low-end response, strong midrange punch, and controlled high frequencies—ideal for modern rock and metal applications. Constructed from high-density birch plywood, the cabinet offers excellent durability and resonance, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. Practical features such as recessed side handles and heavy-duty pop-out casters make transport and setup more manageable despite its robust build.

Connectivity is handled via dual 1/4” input jacks with a stereo/mono selector switch, allowing flexible configuration. It can operate at 16 ohms in mono or 8 ohms per side in stereo, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifier heads, including models from the 6505 series.
