The Peavey 6505 II builds on the legendary tone of the 6505 1992 Original, adding enhanced control and flexibility for today’s demanding players. A true icon in high-gain amplification, it delivers the aggressive sound the 6505 series is known for, with expanded features that set it apart on both stage and in the studio.

Like its predecessor, the 6505 II features two distinct channels, but with a major upgrade—each channel includes its own EQ, Presence, and Resonance controls. This allows for more precise tone shaping and greater control over your overall sound. The Rhythm channel also includes a switchable Crunch mode, easily activated via the upgraded footswitch, giving instant access to additional gain without interrupting your performance.

Powered by six (6) 12AX7 preamp tubes and four (4) 6L6GC power tubes, the 6505 II delivers a massive 120 watts RMS of all-tube power. Independent Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls per channel provide extensive tonal flexibility, from articulate cleans to crushing high-gain distortion with endless sustain.

Designed for versatility, the amp includes a footswitchable effects loop and comes supplied with a 3-button footswitch with a detachable 25-foot cable for convenient control of channels, loop, and Crunch function. With support for 4Ω, 8Ω, and 16Ω speaker cabinets, it integrates seamlessly into a wide range of professional setups.
